Forte' Industries is a sawmill and pallet manufacturer located in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. For over 30 years Forte' has been pursuing excellence through continual manufacturer improvements, expanded facilities, and increased customer services. Today we operate a 30,000 sq. ft. facility on 18 acres of land allowing us to offer a highly competitive pricing model. Forte’ is a second generation multimillion dollar industrial wood products producer. We are the largest pallet manufacturer in upper Michigan. We employee 25 dedicated workers in harvesting timber, sawmilling, re-sawing, and pallet assembly. Our plant is modern and highly efficient giving us some of the best yields in the industry.
Servicing Wisconsin, Illinois, and Upper Michigan, our high-yield, large-volume process is suited to meet our customer's demands. As a vertically integrated pallet manufacturer, we manage from woods to the end pallet user. Our log yard is regularly stocked with mixed dense hardwoods, (Hard and Soft Maple, Birch, Beech, Oak, Ash and Cherry. We also construct pallets out of less dense material in Aspen and Red Pine. In a quick and efficient process, logs move through a debarker to our Scragg Mill, then to milling, grading, and finally pallet assembly stages. Forte’ operates a log processing line helping to ensure consistent quality and is designed to remove excessive sawdust to provide a cleaner pallet for our customers. Our cutting process increase our ability to provide competitive prices, prompt shipments and high quality pallets. We control the entire process allowing us to control the cost to produce our pallets.
